Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for Media House Registration in person, the applicant has to approach the Qalyubia Radio and Television Union (ERTU) Authority.

3. The applicant has to obtain the application form from the office after paying the cost of the application and complete it with required information.
4. Applicant has to enter all the information in the application form.
5. The applicant has to make sure he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
6. Application fee details shall be provided by the concerned licensing officer.
7. Submit the completed form in two copies along with the supporting documents to the respective office.
8. Then, the application would be processed and if found to be in conformity with the requirements of the Act, are recommended to the President, Commander-in-Chief through the respective office.
9. When the license document is ready to be collected, the applicant will be sent a notification from the office through email or phone number and the applicant can collect it by themselves or arrange a courier service for collection.
10. After the issue of license, the applicant should pay the applicable fees as directed to the relevant bank account. Find the information regarding payment in the office website or contact the office.
11. The processing time for this procedure is one week.

Eligibility

• Any individual or organisation, that wishes to establish a Media House in Egypt, can apply.
• The applying entity must have obtained a registration from the Corporate Affairs Commission or possess an Incorporation Certificate.
