Procedure

Apply In-person

1. To Make Complaint about Government Services, must approach to the Ministry of Manpower and Immigration. Contact link
2. Please go to the office and consult with the “District Employment Officer” / designated authority for applying Complaint about Government Services procedure.
3. The applicant must write an application on a blank paper, stating the facts relating to the complaint as to when and where it happened.
4. The applicant must produce all the documents in support of the allegations included in the complaint. Make sure to have all the necessary documents provided under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. No fees for this procedure.
6. The Chief Commissioner on receipt of a complaint shall pertain a copy of the complaint to the opposite party/parties referred to in the complaint expecting him/her to provide their version of the case within a certain time. Find out more about that in the "Validity" section of this page.
7. During the date of hearing, the parties or their agents must appear before the Chief Commissioner on that date.
8. If the complainant/agent fails to appear before the Chief Commissioner on such dates, the authority in his discretion may either reject the complaint or decide it on merits.
9. If the opposite party/ agent fails to appear before the Chief Commissioner on the given date, the authority may take necessary action under section under the Act.
10. The Chief Commissioner is authorised to dispose of the complaint ex parte, if necessary at any period.
11. The Chief Commissioner may also, at any stage of the proceedings, suspend the hearing of the complaint.
12. The complaint shall be resolved within a particular period from the date of notice obtained by the opposite party. The time required for the process is maybe 3 months.

Eligibility

• Applicant must be an Egyptian citizen.
• The applicant must file the complaint along with the required documents.

Fees

• No fees for this procedure.

Validity

• The opposite party/parties must produce their statement of the case within 30 days or an extended period that is not exceeding 15 days as may be granted by the Chief Commissioner.

• Name of the applicant
• Description and the address of the complainant
• Name of the person(s)/organization(s) against who the complaint is to be registered.

• Based on the complaints received, the Department recognizes the problem areas and then the complaints are sent to the concerned officials who are dealing with that category area, associated with the grievance for redress.
