1.A student who has been enrolled in a university in Djibouti start by finding a nearby issuing office this is consulate office, embassy or high commission in home or neighbouring country. A list of these can be viewed by visiting any of the following websites and following directions as provided.

2.Then visit the identified issuing office to find out the current Djibouti visa regulations and requirements;
3.From the issuing office, also obtain a visa application form and fill it in carefully and accurately;
4.Prepare all the required documents and attach them on to the completed application form;
5.Make all necessary documents;
6.Submit application to the identified issuing office and wait for the visa to be processed;

3.Covering letter from school to immigration department indicating year of admission and duration of study;

3.Submit applicant earlier enough to allow a reason time for visa processing;
4.Holding a visa does not mean automatic entry into the country;
5.Immigration authorities at the port of entry reserve the right to allow or reject entry of a foreigner;
6.Applicants should not carry or convey substances or goods prohibited by customs upon entry into the country;
7.A student visa does not permit employment in the country

9.Applicants must be ready to comply with the rules and regulations of Djibouti immigration department and of the entire country;
