Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for a Tenant Verification in Daman and Diu or Dadra and Nagar Haveli, get the Tenant Verification form from your concerned police station.
2. Fill the required details of the Landlord.
3. Fill the required details of the Tenant and the Tenant’s Family Members.
4. Attach the Required Documents and photographs of the Tenant.
5. Duly sign the form and submit the form at the nearest Police Station.

7. Pay the processing fee if required.
8. Receive the acknowledgement receipt and keep it safe for further reference.
9. Visit the Police Station to get the report once it is ready.

1. To apply for Tenant Verification online, one has to login to the Citizen Portal.
2. Residents of Daman and Diu can use this link: Daman & Diu.
3. Residents of Dadra and Nagar Haveli can use this link: Dadra & Nagar Haveli.
4. If you are a new user, register a new Citizen account with your details by clicking on “Create Citizen Login”.
5. Now login with your account and select Tenant Verification.
6. In the given new window, fill the Landlord’s details.
7. In the same webpage, click on the “Tenant Information Tab”.
8. Fill all the required details by clicking on “Personal Information” and “Address”.
9. Fill all the required details on clicking the Tab, “Family Members Information”.
10. Upload the photo and documents in required file size and format.
11. Check the details filled for any correction before you submit the form. Submitted forms cannot be altered.
12. Pay the Tenant Verification Processing fee if required.
13. After submission, you will receive your Service Request No. through SMS or E-Mail.
14. Your application will now be processed and the police will make verifications to create a Report.
15. Any other information will be sent to the registered mobile Number.

Apply through Centres:

1. To get Tenant Verification, the applicant shall visit the nearest CSC/Tehsil Centre. Find contacts to CSC centres in the link provided:Link
2. Procure the mandatory application form from the concerned centre and fill it up with the necessary details required for the verification.
3. Make sure to attach all the "Required Documents" along with the application form before submission.
4. Provide authorized signatory and photograph, wherever applicable.
5. Make the requisite payment required for the process (if applicable).
6. Now, submit the application to the office of the concerned centre and obtain the acknowledgement slip.
7. After that, the verification will be done by the concerned authority.

Need for the Document
