ProcedureEdit

  1. The renewal process is same as for applying a new ration card.
  2. The ration card expires in five years.
  3. The renewal has to be done within two months or as per specified period of expiry.

Apply In-Person

  1. The respective FPS will announce about the ration card renewal. Applicant shall collect the application form for renewal from the FPS.
  2. Link for contact :link AND FPS dealer link please select the menu “DS Stake Holders >> In States >> FPS Dealers AND District food and supply officer in both the above link, please select the respective state to get the new page. Here fill the page prompt and hit respective tab to get details.
  3. Usually the date, time and venue of the Camp for the return of filled-in form and photo capture session will be provided by the FPS.
  4. Go to the respective office and obtain the application form.

  6. Fill all the necessary information in the application as required and sign at appropriate places.
  7. Do not fill any wrong information, otherwise the officer of the department will reject your application form.
  8. Attach all required documents, and submit the application along with document to the authority.
  9. On accepting your application, authority or clerk will check the details and issue a receipt as acknowledgement.
  10. Please keep it safe for future reference.
  11. This submitted application will be processed by the department to issue the renewed ration card.

Note:
  • If the application requires any scrutiny, respective authority will do the due diligence.
  • The change of family head as per age criteria is applicable
  • User gets update on the phone as SMS
  • expired ration card should be submitted once the renewed ration card is issued.
  • If the ration card is not renewed by the beneficiary then the ration card entry of the beneficiary is removed from the register.



Apply Online:

  1. To renew for Ration Card, the applicant shall visit the website in the link provided:Link
  2. The applicant shall log in through the web portal mentioned under the "Login" option and provide the required information for the process.
  3. After login, the applicant shall choose an appropriate option to obtain the card and proceed further.
  4. The applicant shall fill up the application form with all the necessary details on a newly opened page and complete the given application form.
  5. Now the applicant shall upload scanned copies of all the "Required Documents" for further processing.
  6. Once the documents are uploaded, provide the mobile number and enter the received OTP.
  7. Now click on "Submit" and complete the process.
  8. On successful verification, the card will be issued by the authority.



Apply through Centres:

  1. To Renew ration card, the applicant shall visit the nearest CSC/Tehsil Centre. Find contacts to CSC centres in the link provided:Link
  2. Procure the application form from the concerned centre and fill it up with the necessary details required for the process.
  3. Make sure to attach all the "Required Documents" along with the application form before submission.
  4. Provide authorized signatory and photograph, wherever applicable.
  5. Now submit the application to the office of the concerned centre.
  6. On successful verification, the applicant will be notified by the CSC centre.

  • Surrender Certificate (In case of transferring from 1 Town/Gram Panchayat to another)

  • Mobile number or Email addresses (if available) may be filled up in the format to enable this department to send an automated message to the applicant on the status of the application.
  • A self-addressed and stamped postal cover or postcard to enable the office to communicate the results to the applicant as per requirement.
  • Income Certificate from the Village officer (required if income has been changed)
  • Birth Certificate (for adding new children)
  • Death certificate (deletion of members)
  • Residential certificate (for address change only)
  • Aadhaar Card
Note: Always take original along with copy of document while applying.
