This procedure explains various ways to raise a request for the shifting of the electric transformer.
Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply In-Person, you should visit the allocated EB office for your location. You can find the office location and contact details in the “CSPDCL” website. Location and Contacts
  2. While applying In-Person, the consumer should obtain the application from the authorities in the office.
  3. You can also write the request letter mentioning the reasons for shifting the electric transformer.
  4. Make sure you have all the documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section.
  5. The request letter/Complaint form and the required documents should be submitted to officials in the Electricity Board such as ASSISTANT ENGINEER (AE), ASSISTANT DIVISIONAL ENGINEER (ADE), and CHIEF ENGINEER (CE) in the local Electric Board location.
  6. The authorities will go through the application form and provide an estimate of the amount to be paid to the Electricity Board.
  7. The estimated amount has to be paid in the Demand Draft (DD).
  8. After giving the form, they will provide you the Complaint Docket Number and the payment slip.
  9. You have to keep those details safe for future verification and reference purposes.


Apply through Online:

  1. You can raise a request for a shift of the electric transformer in the official CSPDCL’s website. link
  2. Before raising the complaint, you should create your account as it mandatory for any consumer services.
  3. Select the option “Consumer Registration” from the main web page.Registration Link
  4. The details to enter in the First registration page are:
    • BP No (Enter BP No. to be registered)
    • Date of Last Bill Paid (Select Last payment Date using Calendar given)
    • Amount of Last Bill Paid Rupees (Enter Last Payment Amount)
  5. After that, Click on submit button.
  6. In the next page, you have to enter details such as
    • Enter Password
    • Requirement of Strong password
    • Re-enter Password
    • Security Question
    • Enter Secret Answer
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Mobile Number
    • Primary e-Mail Id
    • Date of Birth
    • Captcha Code
  7. After the registration, you have to log in using the “Consumer Login” option.
  8. You can raise complaint under the “Online Complaints” section in the “Consumer e-Seva Services”.
  9. You will receive “Complaint ID” after the registration.
  10. You have to save these details for future verification and reference purposes.
  11. You can track your complaint in the “Complaint Status” option under the “Customers--˃Complaint Related Menu”.


Apply through 24/7 portal:
To raise a request for the shifting of the electric transformer, you can request through the customer care service, which works 24/7-365 days.

  1. The 24/7 Customer Care toll-free number is 1912.
  2. You can also mail your request to the 24/7 Customer Care Service.
  3. After your registration, you will get your “Complaint ID” to your registered mobile number.
  4. You have to keep those details safe for future verification and reference purposes.



Apply through Centres:

  1. To Raise request for Shifting Electric Transformer, the applicant shall visit the nearest CSC/Tehsil Centre. Find contacts to CSC centres in the link provided:Link
  2. Procure the application form from the concerned centre and fill it up with the necessary details required for the process.
  3. Make sure to attach all the "Required Documents" along with the application form before submission.
  4. Provide authorized signatory and photograph, wherever applicable.
  5. Now submit the application to the office of the concerned centre.
  6. On successful verification, the applicant will be notified by the CSC centre.

    • Sale deed
    • Allotment, Possession letter
    • Municipal Tax receipt
    • Gift deed
    • Will deed or any other valid document
    • An indemnity bond drawn by the owner
  • DD for the estimated shifting charges
  • No Objection certificate from Panchayat/Municipality
  • Proof of Identity of the applicant such as
    • Ration card
    • Election Identity Card
    • PAN card
    • Aadhar card
    • Passport
    • Driving license
  • Any other document(mentioned by the authorities)

EligibilityEdit

To request a shift in the transformer, the eligibility criteria are:

  • You should have the Consumer Number, any valid Identity proof (Ex. Aadhar Card).
  • You should be the resident or the owner of the land (leaser too) in the mentioned area for “shifting the electric transformer.”




FeesEdit

  • The fee structure for the shifting of the electric transformer is given by the respective Electricity Board Officials after undertaking the survey for the mentioned location.
  • The consumer should bear the cost of shifting the transformer/pole.
  • The evaluated fee should be paid in advance in the form of a Demand Draft to the “CSPDCL” Electricity Board.
