Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To obtain seed sale license applicant has to get the letter head for the firm and should get required document as per our page.
2. Applicant should go to the district agriculture office (DAO). Click on this link for contact details: Link
3. Please collect the appropriate application form as per officer’s advice or write on a A4 sheet as advised.
4. Submit the completed application with required documents as mentioned in our required documents session.
5. After accepting the application, officials will advise the amount to be remitted as per the mode (treasury challan or as acceptable).
6. Applicant after remitting the mentioned amount, should provide the same to the department authority for processing.
7. Applicant will get receipt for the remitted fees. Please keep the receipt and acknowledgement safe for future reference.
8. This application will be processed by the respective department.
9. Applicant will get intimation for inspection of premises.
10. Authorities will inspect the business place and do their due diligence for the machine / other apparatus as mentioned in application by applicant.
11. Once all the process yields satisfactory result, Applicant gets intimation to collect the License.
12. On the said date, applicant can collect the license.

Apply Online:

1. To Apply or Obtain Seed Sale Licence or Permit, the applicant shall visit the website in the link provided:Link
2. Then the applicant shall log in through the web portal mentioned under the "Login" option and provide the required information for the process.
3. After login, the applicant shall choose an appropriate option to proceed further.
4. The applicant shall fill up the application form with all the necessary details on a newly opened page and complete the given application form.
5. Now the applicant shall upload scanned copies of all the "Required Documents" for further processing.
6. Once the documents are uploaded, provide the mobile number and enter the received OTP.
7. Now click on "Submit" and pay the fee to complete the process.
8. On successful verification, the license will be issued by the authority.

Apply through Centres:

1. To Apply or Obtain Seed Sale Licence or Permit, the applicant shall visit the nearest CSC/Tehsil Centre. Find contacts to CSC centres in the link provided:Link
2. Procure the application form from the concerned centre and fill it up with the necessary details required for the process.
3. Make sure to attach all the "Required Documents" along with the application form before submission.
4. Provide authorized signatory and photograph, wherever applicable.
5. Now submit the application to the office of the concerned centre.
6. On successful verification, the applicant will be notified by the CSC centre.
