Procedure

APPLY IN-PERSON:

1. To apply for agriculture electricity connection in person visit ELECTRICITY BOARD OFFICE in your respective area
2. The address and contact details of the office can be found in ‘’Office and Contact Details” section of this page
3. Visit the Office and get the Application form for Agricultural Electricity Connection from the relevant department or you can download the application form from the following link:Link
4. Please fill the application with essential information and details and it should be attested with the applicant along with all the partner’s signature
5. Make sure that you have all the documents that are listed in “Required Documents” section of this page. Attach all the important documents mentioned
6. Then, it should be submitted to the relevant authority. Also pay the required fees for the application process at the office as directed by the officials or you can find the required fee in “Fee Details” section of this page
7. And your application and attached documents will be passed for verification to check if the land and area is eligible for the type of connection proposed
8. After successful registration, an acknowledgement mentioning the registration number and date of registration will be given to the applicant
9. Now, concerned officials will approve the application and orders will be issued.
   

Apply Online:

1. For new agricultural electricity connection, visit the link:Link
2. Download the “Application Cum Agreement Form” using the option "Online New Connection" at the left side of the page and select "Application/Agreement Form".
3. Fill, the “Application Cum Agreement Form”, please upload self-attested photo and sign along with witness in the form.
4. Create your “User Account” by selecting “Online New Connection” option and choose “Applicant Registration” in the website. Upon successful registration, you will be moved to “Online Application Form” page Or you can log into your account at any point of time.
5. Please fill all the required details correctly in the “Online Application Form”, upload scanned copy of t documents and click on “Submit” button to submit your application.
6. After successful submission of application, you will receive a “Temporary Registration Number”. Your application will be verified by the concerned officials and after then you will receive a “Permanent Registration Number” (BP Number) through SMS/Email.
7. The payment can be done through the official website. Please select the correct payment method and pay the required amount.
8. Please save the receipt of payment for future reference. Now the concerned officials will proceed with the steps to set up the new connections.

Apply through Centres:

1. To Apply for Agriculture Electricity Connection in Chhattisgarh, the applicant shall visit the nearest CSC/Tehsil Centre. Find contacts to CSC centres in the link provided:Link
2. Procure the application form from the concerned centre and fill it up with the necessary details required for the connection.
3. Make sure to attach all the "Required Documents" along with the application form before submission.
4. Provide authorized signatory and photograph, wherever applicable.
5. Pay the fee, if any.
6. Now submit the application to the office of the concerned centre.
7. On successful verification, the applicant will be notified by the CSC centre.

Eligibility

• Any person who wishes to set up a new electricity connection in their agricultural land can apply.
• The shareholders of the land should possess a no objection certificate sworn before the Executive Engineer/Operation and Maintenance Office of the jurisdiction concerned.
• The certificate should be obtained after verification from the Village Administrative Officer.

Fees

• Charge differs with requirement. So, authorities will estimate and will give actual figure for getting connection.
• Please contact your nearest Electricity Board for fee details.
