  2. Please go to the respective office. Submit the completed application obtained from office or can be downloaded from the link here: Residence certificate
  3. Authorities after checking the attached documents and details submitted will make entries and provide you record number for reference.
  4. This application will be verified by the respective authorities.
  5. There will be a ground level verification and scrutiny of the documents and details provided.
  6. Once the verification is over, these officials will submit their report to the superior to decide on issue of the local Certificate to the applicant.
  7. Applicant will get the certificate in 30 days after due verification.

The prescribed application forms available from the local authorities, i.e. the Sub-Divisional Magistrate/Tehsildars office/Revenue Department/District Collectors Office, or any other authority as specified in the State/UT of your residence.

Note

Domicile Certificate can be made only in one State/UT. Obtaining Domicile Certificate from more than one State/UT is an offence.
