Chandigarh - Online Register a Trade Mark (Brand Name)

Step 1 :First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online. Please visit the following link to get the required documents list for this procedure Link for Register a Trade Mark Required Documents page

Step 2 : Please use the following link to apply online Link for online portal.

Step 3 : User will reach a new screen as shown below. User shall use the “New User? Sign Up” option to register. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Note: The fields marked with "*" are mandatory.

Step 4 : User will reach a new screen as shown below. Please click “Proceed for Registration” button. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 5 :User will reach a new screen as shown below. Please select the “Type of Applicant” from the drop down list and click “Search” button. Please follow the below image where options are highlighted appropriately.

Step 6 : User will reach a new screen as shown below. Please enter the prompted detail as appropriate and click “Submit” button. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 7 : User will reach a new screen as shown below. Please select “Add New” button. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 8 : User will reach a new screen as shown below. Please complete the page prompts as appropriate and click “Submit” button. Applicant will get a system generated unique code. Please save it as it is required to process in later stage. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 9 : User shall go back to New user registration page as shown below. Please select the “Type of Applicant”, enter the code as obtained above and click “Process” button. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 10 : User will reach a new screen as shown below. Please process the page prompts. Use the “Add Digital Signature” button and add one. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 11 : User will get a popup as shown below. Please select applicable file and click “OK” button. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 12 : Please scroll down. Complete the other page prompts and click “Register” button. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 13 : User will get a popup stating “User has been registered successfully.The details of the user account will be emailed to registered email id for future record” and click "Ok". Please see the below image.

Step 14 : Please Go to the login page again as shown below. Applicant shall select the “Password” type from the drop down option against “Login with”. Enter their username, password and displayed captcha as per prompt. Now click “Login” button.Please follow the below listed screen where options are highlighted appropriately.

Step 15 : Applicant will reach a new screen as shown below. Please select “New Form Filling” option from the left part of the screen. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 16 : A list of form as shown below will be displayed. Please select respective applicable form type. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 17 : After a file type is selected, applicant will get option to select the type of applicant as shown below. Please select applicant type as applicable. Please follow the below listed screen where options are highlighted appropriately.

Step 18 : Once applicant type is selected, applicant will get a list of application as shown below. Please select applicable type and click “Submit” button at the bottom of the page. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 19 : Applicant’s form details will be provided as shown below. Please make a note of “Temporary Number till payment” as it is required for processing.Use the “Edit” button to edit the details. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 20 : Applicant will get a screen as shown below. Please modify the details as appropriate and click the “Update” button. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 21 : Applicant will now come back to the form details page. Please scroll down to see a screen as shown below. Please click on the “Edit” button. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 22 : Applicant will get prompts to edit as shown below. Please enter details as appropriate to do necessary modifications and click “Update” button. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 23 : Applicant will be taken back to the form detail page again. Please complete the page prompts as appropriate and scroll down to see a page as shown below. Please enter and fill required information as applicable and click “Attach Documents” button. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 24 : Applicant will get a screen as shown below. Please select Browse button to select files. Upload using the “Upload” button. Once all the required uploading is over click on the “Done” button. Please follow the below screen where options are highlighted appropriately.

Step 25 :Applicant will be taken back to the form detail page again. Please click “Preview” button. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 26 : Applicant will get a preview screen as shown below. Please click the close icon to close the preview screen. Please follow the below image.

Step 27 :Applicant will be taken back to the form detail page again. Please click “Digitally Sign & Submit” button. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 28 :Applicant will get a screen as shown below. Please click “Select to Sign” button. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 29 : Applicant will get “Click To Sign” button active as shown below. Please click the same. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 30 : A popup screen will be displayed. In the popup screen, applicant shall select the applicable data and click “OK” button. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 31 : Now again click on the “Click To Sign” button. A popup “document signed successfully” will be displayed as shown below. Please clickthe “OK” button. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 32 : Applicant will get a screen as shown below for signing. Please click “Go Back” button. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 33 : Applicant will get a screen as shown below. Please click “Payments” option on the left part of the screen and choose “Make Payment” from the drop down list. Please follow the below screen where options are highlighted appropriately.

Step 34 : Applicant will get a screen as shown below. Please select respective data from the list and click “Make Payment” button. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 35 : Applicant will get a screen as shown below. Please go through the details. Select the check box for “I agree with..” option and then click “Make Payment” button. Please follow the below screen where options are highlighted appropriately.

Step 36 : Applicant will get a screen as shown below. Please go through the details and click “Confirm” button. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 37 : Applicant will get payment gateway screen as shown below. Please complete the page prompts as appropriate as per applicable payment mode (Net Banking Card, Debit Card / Credit Card)selected by applicant. Please see the below image.

Step 38 : A system generated Receipt will be displayed. Please use the “Print” button to print it and keep it safe for future reference. Please follow the below image where it’s highlighted in “Red”.

Step 39 : This application will be processed further. Applicant receives notification on their register mobile number. Please follow the notification and department guidelines to get the trade mark registered.
