ProcedureEdit

  1. Submit your request to obtain a copy of a birth certificate at Vital Statistics Office in the province or territory where the birth was registered (contact information provided below).
  2. Do not forget to bring a valid identification when you apply for the procedure. You will be asked to present this to confirm your identity and to make sure that you have the right to obtain the certificate.
  3. Pay the application fee.
