- To Apply to Accredit Entities to Carry Out Pesticides Tests, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply (MAPA) link
- An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer or the applicant has to write a complaint letter A4 sheet.
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
- Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting it.
- The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
- Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- Then the application will be processed further.
- ANVISA and/or MAPA will evaluate the technical capabilities of the entity, including its laboratory facilities, equipment, and staff qualifications.
- Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
- The entity will also undergo an on-site assessment to verify its compliance with the accreditation requirements.
- Based on the technical evaluation and on-site assessment, ANVISA and/or MAPA will make a decision on whether to grant accreditation.
- If granted, the entity will receive a certificate of accreditation.
- This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

- Technical staff registration and credentials, such as academic degrees, certifications, and experience in the field of pesticide testing.
- A quality management system plan and documentation demonstrating compliance with international standards, such as ISO/IEC 17025.

- Accreditation application form with complete details of the laboratory's scope of testing, methods, and equipment used.
