To Renew License of Motor Vehicle Pollution Testing Station in Bihar the applicant has to approach the RTO office of his area. Please follow our “Office Locations & Contacts” section of this page to get details of the RTO offices.
An Application for Vehicle pollution testing station shall be made in Form LTS R. Application form can be obtained in the following link :Renewal
Make sure you have all the necessary documents to process the application
The applicant should make sure they are eligible for applying for this procedure
Application forms can also be obtained from the appropriate RTO offices
Present the completed application forms in one of the counter and pay the appropriate fee where the officials would start processing your application.

Need for the DocumentEdit

The functions of pollution checking levels and issue of Pollution Under Control Certificate (PUCC) must be performed only by the authorized operator
With the PUC (Pollution Under Control) Certification being mandatory to certify that your vehicle meets the requisite emission & pollution control norms in India, one can set up a business venture in this field.
You can retain the authorization for 1 year only, starting from the date of issue. After that, your centre will undergo a review check by the Transport office and if satisfactory, then you will get a fresh authorization sanctioned for another 1 year.

Information which might helpEdit

Note that the PUCC must be signed by only one of the authorized operators who has been named in the application form for grant of authorization.
The person who actually performs the pollution check must be holding at least a valid Certificate in Automobile Engineering or Motor Mechanics/Auto Mechanic/ Scooter Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic or its equivalent as issued by a recognized Industrial Training Institute.
