This certificate is issued in the interest of citizens migrating from one place to another place.
Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for the Family Migration certificate, the applicant has to approach their area Block development officers office to apply.
  2. Link for contact details: Bihar Districts In the given page please click on the district map to get new page. Here please select “DIRECTORY > PUBLIC UTILITIES > Municipalities / Nagar Parishad” option for contact details AND Contact Link and Municipal office contact 2Please select your ULB from the drop down menu under Online citizen service centre and submit. User will be directed to respective municipal website. Click the contact menu or other appropriate option to know the address.
  3. Go to the respective office.
  4. Collect the application form or write on a plain A4 sheet as advised.
  5. Complete the application form. Attach the entire required document as per our “required document” section and submit it along with required fees to the designated authority.
  6. Authorities after checking the attached documents and submitted application will make entries and provide you record number for reference.
  7. This application will be processed further. Submitted details and documents will be verified for authenticity.
  8. Once the verification is over, these officials will submit their report to the respective superior authority to decide the issue of Certificate to the applicant.
  9. The status, viz. Approval or Rejection if any will be conveyed to the applicant through an SMS.
  10. If approved, the certificate will be hand delivered or sent through post to the address mentioned while applying or issued as per applicable norms.
Note:
  • Applicant has to bring original documents while applying for verification and scanning if required.
  • Without cross signature on photograph and signature on undertaking the application will be rejected


Apply through Centres:

  1. To apply through centres, the applicant has to visit the respective “CSC” centre. Please tap on the following link to locate the centre according to the respective district: link.
  2. Make sure to have the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  3. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
  4. The operator will process the application online.
  5. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement.
  6. This application will be processed internally. Once the verification is over, these officials will submit their report to the respective superior authority to decide the issue of the license to the applicant.
  7. The status, viz. Approval or Rejection if any, will be conveyed to the applicant through an SMS.
  8. If approved, the certificate will be hand delivered or sent through post to the address mentioned while applying or issued in a stipulated period of time.
