Step 2 : Please use the following link to apply online : Apply Online.
Step 3 : In this page please click “Create citizen login” option at the right side of the page and it is highlighted in Yellow in the below image.

Step 4 : Now complete the registration form and click “Submit” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 5 : Now enter the OTP in the textbox and click “Validate” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 6 : Now you have to make login using the valid credentials and click “LOGIN” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 7 : Now click “Character Certificate Request” option under “Citizen Services” menu. Please look for appropriate option to apply for character certificate. Currently the service is not available.

Step 8 : Kindly follow the page requirements for filling online application form and then upload required documents as per requirement also make online payment as per option provided (if applicable).
Step 9 : Finally hit the appropriate tab for submitting the form.
Step 10 : Please keep the acknowledgement for future reference.
Step 11 : This application will be processed by the respective department as per how it will be processed in person.
Step 12 : Applicant will get notification about the status on his registered mobile number provided while applying.
Step 13 : Applicant should meet the respective authorities with documents as instructed to get the certificate.
