Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To Adopt Zoo Animal in Assam, the applicant has to approach the Zoo Office.
2. The address of the Zoo in Assam can be obtained from the “Office Locations and Contacts” Section of this page.
3. After visiting the office, applicant has to approach the Zoo office/Authority in charge for Adoption application form.
4. Choose an Animal for Adoption and level of support/period of Adoption.
5. After completion, submit the form at the Zoo office.
6. Pay the appropriate fees at the Zoo office.
7. Collect the certificate of adoption from the Zoo authority.

Eligibility

Any individual/organisation can Adopt Zoo Animal after paying the appropriate fee.

Fees

Animals can be a dopted under three categories – INR 2,000, above INR 2,000 to 5,000 and above INR 5,000.

Validity

• Validity depends upon the number of months/years chosen to Adopt an Animal.
