Following are the ways through which you can apply for senior citizen certificate in Arunachal Pradesh.

Apply through Phone Call

  • You can apply by calling "14567" which is a National Helpline for the Elders and they should be able to facilitate you to get a Senior Citizen Certifiate or Identity Card.

Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for the senior citizen certificate approach the concerned tehsildar office.
  2. Applicant can submit application in a plain paper to the tehsil office.
  3. Make sure that you have all the proper documents mentioned in the “Required documents” section below.
  4. Submit the form to the tehsildar office along with the required documents. More details about the tehsildar office location is provided in the following link All Districts
  5. Refer the tehsildar office location mentioned in the “Office location & contacts” section below.
  6. After the application form is processed, an enquiry officer will make a thorough verification regarding your proof which you have submitted along with the form.
  7. Collect the acknowledgment slip after submitting the form.
  8. After 10 days, use that acknowledgment slip to obtain the senior citizen certificate.

Apply through Centres

  1. To apply through centres, the applicant has to visit the respective “CSC” centre. Please tap on the following link to locate the centre according to the respective district: link.
  2. Make sure to have the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  3. An application form can be obtained through the kiosk operator upon visiting the centre.
  4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary information in the application form.
  5. Submit the application form with ”Required Documents” to the office.
  6. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
  7. The operator will process the application online.
  8. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement.
  9. After the application form is processed, an enquiry officer will make a thorough verification regarding the proof of submitted documents along with the form.
  10. Collect the acknowledgment slip after submitting the form.
  11. Collect the certificate from the respective centre in 10 days.

  • Two photographs of the applicant.
  • Proof of residence like Ration Card.
  • Age Proof like Birth Certificate, Matriculation Certificate, School leaving certificate, Pension Payment Order if retired from service or any other age proof
