Following are the ways through which you can apply for division of land in Arunachal Pradesh.

Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for the division of land approach the concerned Tehsildar officer or sub-divisional officer who is regulated under the Department of land management.
  2. Applicant has to visit the concerned Sub-Divisional Office (SDO) and apply for division of land by affixing a court-fee stamp of 75 paisa and mention the address with contact number on the application.
  3. Make sure that you have all the proper documents mentioned in the “Required documents” section below.
  4. Submit the form to the sub-divisional officer along with the required documents.

  6. Likewise for each district in Arunachal Pradesh, visit the concerned district’s official website and click “about district” and now select “who’s who” to know about SDO location and contacts. Click the following link to visit districts portal All Districts
  7. Refer the Office location mentioned in the “Office location & contacts” section below.
  8. Once, the application is submitted, notice is sent to the neighboring properties and local RI (Revenue Inspector) Office in order to verify the neighboring plots and the land that you are applying for demarcation.
  9. Once it is verified, the local RI contacts you on your mobile number or on your postal address to confirm about your application.
  10. Once it is confirmed, a person is assigned from the local RI office to divide your land on a specific date when both the person and the Applicant are free.
  11. On the particular day that person will come along with the map of the locality.
  12. With the tools he will measure and divide the land.


Apply Through Centres

  1. To apply through centres, the applicant has to visit the respective “CSC” centre. Please tap on the following link to locate the centre according to the respective district: link.
  2. Make sure to have the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  3. An application form can be obtained through the kiosk operator upon visiting the centre.
  4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary information in the application form.
  5. Submit the application form with ”Required Documents” to the office.
  6. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
  7. The operator will process the application online.
  8. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement. The applicant will also get a transaction number as a text message on their registered mobile number.
  9. Pay the fee as given in the “Fees” section of this page and collect the receipt.
  10. Once the application is submitted, notice is sent to the neighbouring properties and local RI (Revenue Inspector) office in order to verify the neighbouring plots and the land that the applicant is applying for demarcation.
  11. Once it is verified, the local RI contacts through mobile or on the postal address to confirm the application.
  12. Once it is confirmed, an authorised official is assigned from the local RI office to demarcate the land on a specific date agreed by both the applicant and the official.
  13. On the particular day that authorised official will come along with the map of the locality.
  14. The authority will measure and divide the land with tools.

FeesEdit

The fee for division is as follows

  • For residential/house site Rs.10.
  • Agricultural land up to 2 hectare Rs.25.
  • Agricultural land between 2 hectares to 4 hectares Rs.50.

Explain the time until which the certificate/document is valid.
