Andhra Pradesh - Online Obtain Inter State Workmen Licence for Contractor

- Step 2 : To start your application process the applicant shall visit the Shram Suvidha website in the following link: Apply Online.
- Step 3 : In the given page, please click “Registration & License” button highlighted in “RED” as shown in the below image.

- Step 4 : In the new page, go through the onscreen information and select the “Click Here to Register” button highlighted in “RED” as shown in the below image.

- Step 5 : You will be redirected to a new page, click on the “Sign Up” button highlighted in “RED” as shown in the below image.

- Step 6 : Fill in the sign-up sheet that appears on screen and the “Verification Code. Then, “Select the “SIGN UP” button highlighted in “RED” as shown in the below image.

- Step 7 : A new page with “Sign-up Verification Link has been sent to your email..” message will be displayed as shown in the below image.

- Step 8 : Visit your registered email address’ inbox. To confirm your registration click on the “Click Here” link pointed by a “RED” arrow as shown in the below image.

- Step 9 : Once you click on the link, you will be directed to a new page with “Verification Code” section. Enter the verification code from the image displayed next to it and click on the “Generate OTP” button highlighted in “RED” as shown in the image below.

- Step 10 : OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number, enter the OTP in the box and click on the “Verify OTP” button highlighted in “RED” as shown in the below image.

- Step 11 : In the new page, enter user id of your choice and set up password for your account and click on the “Submit” button highlighted in “RED” as shown in the below image.

- Step 12 : Next, “Registration Successful” message will appear on screen, click on the “Ok” button highlighted in “RED” as shown in the image.

- Step 13 : Use the login credentials as applicable at the given space and enter the “Verification Code.” Then, click “LOGIN” button highlighted in “RED” as shown in the below image.

- Step 14 : A welcome prompt will be provided. Please use the close icon pointed by a “GREEN” arrow to close the pop-up.

- Step 15 : On the dashboard, click on the “Registration for CLC” under the “Registration” section highlighted in “RED” as shown in the below image.

- Step 16 : On the next page, click on the “Apply for New Registration” button highlighted in “RED” as shown in the below image.

- Step 17 : Click on the “Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act” option pointed by a “GREEN” arrow and then click on the “Submit” button highlighted in “RED” as shown in the below image.

- Step 18 : Fill in the required details under the “Principal Employer Details” section and retrieve the details of the principal employer through LIN by clicking on the “Search LIN” highlighted in “RED” as shown in the below image.

- Step 19 : Once you have filled this section, click on the “Save Draft” button pointed with a “GREEN” arrow to review and edit your application. After reviewing click on the “Next” button highlighted in “RED” as shown in the below image to take you to the next section.

- Step 20 : Retrieve the details of the Establishment through Labour Identification Number (LIN) by entering the number in the box and clicking on the “Search LIN” button highlighted in “RED.” Then, click on the check box next to “Select if Address is Same as Principal Employer Address” pointed by a “GREEN” arrow as shown in the below image if the address is as same as the Principal Employer Address.

- Step 21 : After filling in the remaining details click on the “Next” button highlighted in “RED” as shown in the below image.

- Step 22 : Fill in the details under “Manager Details” section. Under the “Contact Type” section click on the drop down arrow pointed by a “GREEN” arrow to select your contact type. If you have more contacts to add, click on the plus sign highlighted in “RED” as shown in the below image.

- Step 23 : Then, click on the “Next” button highlighted in “RED” as shown in the below image.

- Step 24 : Fill in the required details under the “Contractors Details” section as shown in the below image.

- Step 25 : Select the identifier type under the “Identifier of Contractor” section pointed by a “GREEN” arrow and enter the “Name as on Identifier” and “Identifier Value” in the adjacent boxes and click on the “Add” button highlighted in “Red” as shown in the below image if you have more identifiers to add.

- Step 26 : Click on the “Next” button highlighted in “RED” as shown in the below image.

- Step 27 : Fill in the required details under the “Contract Work Details” section and click on the “Add” button pointed by a “GREEN” arrow in case you require to add more details. Then, click on the “Next” button highlighted in “RED” as shown in the image.

- Step 28 : Under the “Attachments” section, click on the “Select Document Type” drop down box highlighted in “RED” and select the type of document to upload. Then, click on the “Choose File” pointed with a “GREEN” arrow as shown in the below image to upload the document.

- Step 29 : After uploading the documents, if you need to add more, click on the “Plus” button pointed by a “GREEN” arrow. Then, click on the “Submit” button highlighted in “RED” as shown in the below image to submit the application. You will be redirected to pay the necessary fees. Follow the screen promptly to finish your submission process.

- Step 30 : After submitting the application successfully, you will get update about the progress of your application through “SMS” in your registered mobile number. Applicants are advised to follow the department guidelines to get the licence.
- Step 31 : After scrutiny by the designated authority, rectifications in the documentation if any will be intimated through “SMS” along with the date of inspection. Please follow department notification regularly.
- Step 32 : The investigation (licensing) officer will conduct investigation of the mandatory documents and registers in respect of the application received. The officer will also inspect the premises for the purpose of determining whether such workman mentioned on the application is an interstate migrant workman.
- Step 33 : If the application is found to be correct in all respect, the issuing authority will grant an “Interstate Workmen Licence for Contractor” with his/her seal and signature.
- Step 34 : The status, viz. Approval or rejection if any will be conveyed to the applicant through an “SMS” or as per applicable norms.
- Step 35 : The certificate, thus granted, shall be hand delivered or sent through post to the address mentioned while applying or delivered as per applicable norms or can be downloaded online as per applicable norms.
- Note : Every application for the grant of a license shall contain the particulars regarding the location of the establishment, the nature of process, operation or work for which interstate migrant workmen are to be employed and such other particulars as may be prescribed.
