Apply In-Person:

  1. Applicant has to Approach the respective EASTERN POWER DISTRIBUTION COMPANY OF ANDHRA PRADESH LTD. (APEPDCL) or SOUTHERN POWER DISTRIBUTION COMPANY OF A.P LTD (APSPDCL) to register your complaint regarding the incorrect EB bill. contact link AND contact link
  2. Applicant should go to Electricity Department. Meet the executive who is meant for taking complaints and applicant can get their application form for incorrect EB Bill.
  3. Follow their guidelines to record your complaint.
  4. Applicant must make sure to carry all necessary documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page. (Both photocopies and originals)
  5. The Applicant will be provided with acknowledgement for the received complaint.
  6. This request will be processed by the respective authority.
  7. After the complaint is submitted, technician will check your EB meter to find out the reason for the incorrect EB bill.
  8. A technician will visit the premises as per the address mentioned in the application.
  9. He will check the meter for the fault. If the problem is persistent, the electricity meter will be removed. Then the electricity meter will be sent to department lab for checking.
  10. Applicant shall wait till the mentioned period to get the meter or can get new electricity meter based on the department’s decision.
  11. The fees and payment depends on the respective electricity board and respective state.
  12. Generally, the processing time for this procedure takes 15-30 days.
  13. Please follow the department notification to get the electricity meter fixed.


Apply Online (APSPDCL):

  1. The applicant has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online.
  2. To register your complaint online at APSPDCL navigate to the link
  3. Click on “Register Complaints” tab which is highlighted in “Red”.
  4. If applicant are already a user Login using your “username”, “password” and “captcha code” and click on the “SUBMIT” button which is highlighted in “Green”.
  5. If applicant are a new user click “Sign Up” button which is highlighted in “Red”.
  6. Then, the new user should “Sign Up” using appropriate personal credentials and click on the “SUBMIT” button which is highlighted in “Red”.
  7. Click on the “Complaints Related” button which is highlighted in “Red” and click on the “Register Complaint” button which is highlighted in “Green”.
  8. Enter all the required information and click on “Submit” button which is highlighted in “Red”.
  9. After filling out all the details and uploading required photos or documents, click on the submit button.
  10. The complaint is now fully submitted.
  11. After the complaint is submitted the fuse man will visit for the inspection of the faulty meter and replace the meter from the local or centralized location.
  12. The fees and payment depends on the respective electricity board and respective state.
  13. Generally, the processing time for this procedure takes 15-30 days.


Apply Online (APEPDCL):

  1. The applicant has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online.
  2. To register your complaint online at APEPDCL navigates to the link
  3. Click on “Customers” option which is highlighted in “Red”.
  4. Now click on the “Complaint Related” button which is highlighted in “Green”.
  5. Then click on the “Register a Complaint” button which is highlighted in “Red”.
  6. Click on the “CLICK HERE” button which is highlighted in “Red” to request a call.
  7. Applicant must enter your name, contact number and request type as “Meter Related” and Click on “SUBMIT” button which is highlighted in “Red”.
  8. The responsible officer will assign the task to the concerned department/officials and see to it that the problem is attended to immediately.
  9. Upon successful registration, a unique registration number will be generated and provided to the customer, which is to be retained for status enquiry.
  10. After the complaint is submitted the fuse man will visit for the inspection of the faulty meter and replace the meter from the local or centralized location.
  11. The fees and payment depends on the respective electricity board and respective state.
  12. Generally, the processing time for this procedure takes 15-30 days.
