Procedure

Apply In-Person:
For Indane:

1. To apply for the Indane LPG gas new connection, visit the nearest Indane distributor of your area.
2. To locate your nearest gas agency click here: Search nearby office. Enter your pin code and click “Show” to get the details.
3. Now approach your nearest Indane office and register for the new connection with valid proof of identity.
4. Obtain the relevant application form from the distributor.
5. Make sure that you have all the mandatory documents mentioned in the “Required documents” section below.
6. On registration, the distributor will send you an intimation letter through registered post. You need to carry the letter and the envelope to the distributor to avail the connection.
7. The Indane gas connection will be released to you immediately. For release of your Indane connection you will be required to pay security deposit.
8. On payment of requisite deposit, you will be issued a Subscription Voucher [SV], which you must keep safely. You will require it at a later date when you desire to shift your connection from one distributor to another or when you surrender the connection.
9. The distributor’s staff enter the details of Indane supplies and other allied services. Keep the booklet handy whenever you receive your Indane supplies.

For Indane:

1. To buy non-domestic / commercial LPG cylinders, visit the following link: LPG
2. Select the appropriate option and fill all the mandatory details in the application form and click “Submit”.
3. After successful registration, you will receive the confirmation message with the service request number.
4. LPG distributor will contact you soon to provide the service you requested.

Apply through Mobile App:

1. To apply for LPG Gas Commercial Connection through a mobile app, the applicant has to download the app from the google play store. Find the link here: Link.
2. Once downloaded, enter the login credentials and click on the "LOGIN NOW" button, if you are already a user. Otherwise, click on the "Don’t have an account? REGISTER" option on the app.
3. The applicant may also log in via Facebook, Twitter or Google account.
4. After login, the applicant may create a profile and fill in all the details including KYC status.
5. Now click on the "LPG" button to proceed further.
6. On a new page, the applicant shall choose the appropriate option to order cylinder connections for commercial use.
7. Now, the applicant must choose the kgs as displayed on the screen for the gas cylinder.
8. Enter all the necessary details such as name, phone number, email id, consumer id, and other details to proceed.
9. On completion, a verification code will be sent to the registered phone number.
10. Enter the code in the given slot to verify and proceed.
11. On successful verification, an account will be allotted and a list of stores will be displayed on the screen.
12. One may contact the agency from the list or directly buy the connection from the website itself.

Eligibility

• Applicant must be the citizen of India.
• Applicant must own any industries / factories where there is a use of LPG gas.

• 19 kg Cylinder with SC valve Rs. 1700/- per cylinder
• 19 kg Cylinder Rs with LOT valve 3200/- per cylinder
• 47.5 kg Cylinder with SC valve Rs. 4300/- per cylinder
• 47.5 kg Cylinder with LOT valve Rs. 5800/- per cylinder
• 5 kg NDNE Cylinder with SC valve Rs. 350/- per cylinder
• Pressure Regulator (PR) Rs. 150 per PR ( for North East Rs .100)

Validity

Instructions

• Check the seal of the cylinder.
• Check the safety cap. It should not have any cracks.
• Remove safety Cap and check for leakage from the valve. Usually in case of any leakage from the Cylinder valve, the safety cap will pop off at the time of removal. This can be further reaffirmed by placing your thumb on the cylinder valve.
• Get the new cylinder connected with the hotplate and make sure that no leakage is observed.
