Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for subsidy of Irrigation well in Andaman and Nicobar Islands is available in the Department of Agriculture under Administration Secretariat –- contact link
2. Applicant should make sure to carry all the documents that are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page (Both photocopies and originals).
3. Applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the form and attach the photocopies of the documents that are needed along with the application form before submitting.
4. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
5. Concerned authorities will look into the application form and submitted documents before providing an approval.
6. Approval will be provided within 2-3 weeks.
7. If the approval has not been given within 3 weeks, applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.

1. Application for construction of irrigation well subsidy is available in the following link – Link
2. If the applicant is an existing user, they can login directly using their “User ID” and “Password”.
3. If the applicant is a new user, they have to register first by clicking on the “Register” option.
4. While registering, applicant has to provide all necessary information in the application form and finally click on “Register” button.
5. Once the registration is successful, applicant can login with their “User ID” and “Password”.
6. After logging in, applicant has to choose the service necessary for them.
7. Applicant must provide all information necessary for application procedure online.
8. Applicant should make sure to upload digital copies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form.
9. Finally, applicant has to click on “Submit” button.
10. Fee for this procedure can be paid online.
11. After getting approval from concerned authorities, subsidy will be provided within 2-3 weeks.

• The applicant should have a water source in the form of pond/well near his/her plot.
• The applicant’s land should have a clear title of ownership with detailed survey particulars.

Instructions

• Once the process is over, the selected applicants are directed to start the work under the technical supervision of the department officials.
• After the completion of work in all respect 1/3rd cost of the irrigation, is handed over to the farmers as a subsidy.
