1. To Obtain Contract for the Sale of Mineral Materials, the applicant has to approach the United States Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management district offices link

   Note: The Bureau of Land Management Headquarters Office in Washington, D.C., the BLM operates 12 state offices that have jurisdiction across the nation. The applicant can choose their nearby district offices to submit the application form.

2. An application form will be provided to the applicant or the applicant can download the form from the given following link
3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form.
4. The applicant has to make sure to attach all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
6. Submit the completed form and the necessary documents to nearby Bureau of land management district offices.
7. The Fee for this procedure is mentioned under the “Fees” section of this page.
8. The BLM (Bureau of land management) will examine the application for completeness and accuracy.
9. Once all the verification process is done by the authority, the applicant receives a notification through a mail.
10. The applicant has to get the certificate by visiting the office.

• BLM will not sell mineral materials at less than fair market value. BLM determines fair market value by appraisal.
• BLM may periodically reappraise the value of mineral materials not yet removed, and adjust the applicant’s contract price accordingly. BLM will not adjust the price during the first 2 years of the contract. BLM also will not adjust the contract price during the 2-year period following any adjustment. However, BLM may adjust the price at the beginning of any contract renewal period.
• BLM measures mineral materials by in-place volume or weight equivalent. When BLM requires the applicant to measure materials, BLM may either designate the method the applicant must use or allow the applicant to choose either method.
