ProcedureEdit
- Submit an official letter from the Minister of Interior to move on with the naturalization transaction.
- Bring the required documents.
- Fill out the application for naturalization.
- Pay the application fee for naturalization.
- Open a file for the applicant and register a record of naturalization applications according to the article.
- Escalate the file to the Minister of Interior for his recommendation and submit it to the Council of Ministers to issue the approval by granting Jordanian citizenship.
- Pay the nationality fee (for Arabs and expatriates 3,000 JOD), the normal naturalization (for foreigners is 5,000 JOD).
- Oath taking before the Magistrate's Court judge.
- Forward the transaction to the Office of the Special Audit for the endorsement of the Jordanian citizenship and to issue national ID numbers.
- Transfer the transaction to the Office of Civil Affairs for the disbursement of the family book, identity cards according to the procedures.
- Print a certificate of citizenship or naturalization for the applicant and the addition of boys who are under eighteen years of age, including their national ID numbers.
- Submit his foreigner passport which he revoked his nationality of, to be returned to the concerned State concerned.
- Issuance of a passport to the owner of the certificate from the relevant office.
