Jamaica - Online Apply for Importation of Food Additives, Chemicals, Cosmetics and Pharmaceutical Products (MOH)
- Step 1 : First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online. - Step 2 : To apply for the Chemicals and Food Additives import permit, you should apply through the Ministry of Health (MOH) online using the MOH Trade System:Apply Online
- Step 3 : If you already have a registered account, enter your “Login ID” and “Password” and click on the “Login” button which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image to log in to your account and if you are not a registered user of the system, choose the “Not yet registered? click here” which is highlighted in “Green” in the below image option go to the TRS central registration point.

- Step 4 : Provide the User information, Personal Information, Contact Information, account details, and select “Pesticides Control Authority Jamaica” under “Agency Selection” which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image.

- Step 5 : Then click on “Continue” button which is highlighted in “Green” in the below image to go to the next page.

- Step 6 : Choose the permit type i.e., for Pesticide imports, and submit your application for processing.
- Step 7 : Upon submission of the application, you will receive a notification informing you that your registration and your application has been successfully submitted.
- Step 8 : Your registration request will be assessed by the systems administrator at the ministry and an email will be sent informing you of your registration approval within the next 24 hours of submitting your application.
- Step 9 : Once the registration is approved you will be required to enter into your account and complete applying for the import permit and pay the application fee online using a debit or credit card or at the Cashier located at the MOH office and obtain the payment receipt.
- Step 10 : Your application will be assessed by the MOH to verify if it meets the required standard.
- Step 11 : If the application is deemed to be incomplete, the MOH will inform you to provide the required additional and/or information to complete the application.
- Step 12 : If the application is determined to be complete by the MOH will scrutinize the application and decide to approve it or not and if the application is not approved, the MOH will inform you that your application is unsuccessful.
- Step 13 : If the application is approved, the MOH will sign and stamp the permit and assign it a unique permit number.
- Step 14 : You will then be issued the complete import permit.
