Apply Online

  1. To apply for enrolment in the Jamaica House Fellowship Programme, you should submit your application online using the Jamaica House Fellowship Programme online application form. To complete the online application form, visit the Jamaica House Fellowship Programme website through this link:Link
  2. On the website, click on the “Apply Now” button to complete the online application form. Note that if the deadline for applying has passed, then the online form application status will be indicated as “Closed” on the website
  3. Once you have completed the application form correctly and uploaded all the required supporting documents, submit your application using the online system.
  4. Your application will be verified to determine if you meet the requirements to be enrolled in the Fellowship Programme
  5. If it is determined that you meet the minimum educational, community service, and professional achievement requirements, you will be shortlisted for a Telephone or Skype interview
  6. After you have successfully gone through the Skype or telephone interview, you will be invited for a face-to-face interview at the Jamaica House Fellowship Programme office
  7. At the interview, you will be required to submit your original documents for assessment. Note that for individuals residing outside Jamaica, you will be contacted through Skype for the final interview and assessment
  8. If you pass the interview, you will be enrolled at the Jamaica House Fellowship Programme and you will sign a two-year contract of engagement

Jamaican citizens who reside in Jamaica or the diaspora and Persons holding green cards or who are permanent residents of other countries may apply if they have retained their Jamaican citizenship

  • Incomplete application will not be accepted
  • All the required supporting documents should be uploaded and submitted along with the application
  • Note that there will be no opportunity to make changes to the application form once submitted, therefore you shouldcheck and verify if the information you have provided is correct before submitting the application
  • Existing employees of the Government of Jamaica and the public sector, in general,cannot apply for enrolment at the Jamaica Fellowship Programme
  • You should meet the following required skills and competence:
    • You should hold at least an undergraduate degree
    • You should providea record of outstanding professional achievement in your career
    • Evidence of leadership skills and achievements.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Excellent research and organizational skills.
    • Proof of a commitment to public service and proof of the ability to work as part of a team.
    • Be with strong interpersonal skills.
    • Be a quick learner and willing to work hard for long hours.
