Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To apply for the Tertiary Grant under PATH, you should submit your application to the Ministry of Labour and Social Security (MLSS). Please view the MLSS contact details via this link:Link
2. Obtain the application form from the bursar’s office in you your learning institution
3. Complete the application form accordingly and return it to the bursar’s office
4. The bursar will send the application to the relevant PATH official in the MLSS office for processing
5. Then the application will be assessed by the PATH authority to determine if it meets the eligibility criteria to be issued the grant
6. If your application is successful, the bursary will be paid directly to your participating institutions which manage the application process on behalf of PATH.

Eligibility

• Only persons who had received at least one PATH benefit payment while in secondary school are eligible to receive this grant
• You must also be a member of the registered PATH household
• You must be a student pursuing a bachelor’s degree

Instructions

• The Bursaries are valued at $100,000 and are paid directly to participating institutions. The bursary may be accessed each year of study, however on the conditioned-on maintenance of a 2.5 GPA for 2nd through 4th year for every student applying for the grant
