ProcedureEdit

Apply In-Person

  1. To apply for a Local Dealer’s License from the Jamaica Agricultural Commodities Regulatory Authority (JACRA), you should go to the JACRA office. please view JACRA’s contact details via this link: Link
  2. Obtain the application form from the JACRA office in Person or download it through this link:Link
  3. Read and complete the application accordingly and attach all the required documents as mentioned in the “Required Documents” section below to it
  4. Then visit the JACRA office and pay the application fees at the cashier and obtain the payment receipt. You can also opt to pay for the application at the bank and obtain a banker’s reference
  5. Submit the complete application to the JACRA office at the service desk
  6. The official will verify your application and if it is correct, you will be issued an acknowledgment receipt of your application
  7. Upon submitting your application, JACRA will contact you within seven days of receipt of the application to inform you if your application is successful or if they require more details from you to complete the application
  8. If your application is complete and meets the required standards, you will be notified that processing of the application will begin. If not, you will be notified of the requirements to be satisfied for the application to be processed.
  9. The application will be processed and you will be issued with the local dealer’s license

  1. To apply for the Local Dealer’s License using the online application form, visit the Jamaica Agricultural Commodities Regulatory Authority (JACRA) website:Link
  2. Once on the website, click on “RESOURCES” under the information bar to open the hyperlink and select “FORMS” to go to the forms page
  3. Scroll down to find “Dealer’s Licence (Cocoa, Spices, and Coconut)” and click on it to open the online form
  4. Read the information provided and prepare the required documents ready for upload
  5. Complete the online application form providing the required details. Remember to select “New” under the “Type of Application” section
  6. Once you have completed the form and uploaded all the required supporting documents, click on “SUBMIT FORM”
  7. Upon submitting your application, the JACRA will contact you within seven days of receipt of the application to inform you if your application is successful or if they require more details from you to complete the application
  8. If your application is complete and meets the required standards, you will be notified that processing of the application will begin. If not, you will be notified of the requirements to be satisfied for the application to be processed.
  9. The application will be processed and you will be issued with the local dealer’s license

  • Companies and Individuals who wish to produce,buy, or offer for sale pimento, nutmeg, ginger or turmeric coconut, cocoa as raw material

  • Application fee: JMD 500
  • 100,000 JMD per annum (cocoa)
  • JMD 15,000 per annum (spices)
