Apply In-Person

  1. Book an appointment
    (i) Due to the on-going corona virus epidemic, the Centre de Gestion Intégrée de service(CGI) advises all applicant to make an appointment booking first, via QUIPUX website link link
    (ii) Click on the far right side of your screen, Make appointment option.
    (iii) You will be redirected to the next page, fill out all mandatory fields accurately {location, under formality select ”carte grise”, CGI agency that you wish to fill your application with, date, time, email address, full name, phone number, identification document, document number)
    (iv) Accept terms and conditions then click on “To send” tab.
    (v) You will receive details of your appointment, indicating that it has been taken into account by the CGI.
    (vi) Alternative you can call the CGI toll free number 1320 or (+225) 21006929 to make the booking appointment or for inquires.
  2. File your applicant
    (i) Visit the regional integrated Service Management Center (CGI) office, you had book an appointment with at the specific date and time.
    (ii) Approach the Department of transportation service desk and express your interest, fill out the application form accurately.
    (iii) Pick the control ticket service number and wait for your ticket number to be called.
    (iv) Submit the completed form along with the supporting documents (listed below) to the attending official for verification and processing.
    (v) Payment the application fees at the in-house bank, upon which you will be issued with a receipt.
    (vi) If the attending official is satisfied that all the conditions for filling the application are met you will be issued with the card immediately.

Required DocumentsEdit

  • Change of characteristics (transformation)
  1. a legible photocopy of the registration document (presentation of the original) or a certificate of declaration of loss in original in case of loss or theft of the registration document,
  2. A legible photocopy of the valid identification document (natural person) of the vehicle owner. If the owner is a legal person,
  3. A legible photocopy of the valid identification document (natural person) of their legal representative and legible photocopy of the document appropriate to its legal status,
  4. The original of the vehicle acceptance report (RTI),
  5. The original of the transformation certificate indicating the transformations,
  6. A legible photocopy of the valid sticker and technical inspection certificate (presentation of the original)
  7. The original agreement of the vehicle pledge house (if the vehicle is pledged except the pledge MINICOM);
  8. The original of the empty weight ticket if the conversion changes the empty weight;
  9. The original of the gray card extract in case the gray card is not in the database data
  10. The original receipt for payment of the isolated receipt (RTI) (3) of the vehicle.
  11. A legible photocopy of the owner's CIE or SODECI invoice or the residence certificate.
  12. A legible photocopy of the valid insurance certificate of the vehicle

  • Anyone wishing to make a certain modification to their vehicle can apply.

  1. Motorcycle 10,000
  2. Motor vehicle of Puiss. Less than or equal to 7 CV 35,000
  3. Motor vehicle of Puiss. Between 8 and 15 CV 40,000
  4. Motor vehicle of Puiss. Greater than 15 CV 45,000
  5. Semi-trailer and Trailer 50,000

ValidityEdit

  • The card is valid forever but may require update in case of future modification of the vehicle or change of ownership of the vehicle.

  • Anyone who wishes to make any transformation or modification i.e. (colour, bodywork ,engine) to their vehicle in ivory coast are required to notify the Integrated Management Centre and obtain a gray card, before make any alteration to the vehicle.
