Procedure

• Secure a valid proof of identity.
• Book an appointment at the Central Document Office in Budapest.
• Submit your completely filled in application form on the date of appointment.
• Pay the prescribed fee.

Eligibility

Must be a Hungarian citizen.

Fees

• Applicants aged 18 to 70 years:
  • 7,500.00 Ft (5-year validity)
  • 14,000.00 Ft (10-year validity)
• Applicants aged 0-18 or 70 years and above: 2,500.00 Ft

Note: For urgent processing, the payment will be twice the regular fee.

Validity

Explain the time until which the certificate/document is valid.
e.g. Birth Certificate Valid Forever

Processing Time

It will take up to 5 working days for urgently processed passport.
