ProcedureEdit

  1. Go to your regional Motor Vehicles Division to report a lost, stolen or destroyed identification card.
  2. Fill out the declaration of lost, stolen or destroyed identification card form for identification card. Declaration of Lost, Stolen or Destroyed General Identification Card: http://www.edt.gov.nu.ca/apps/UPLOADS/fck/file/lost_destroyed_gic.pdf
  3. Submit the declaration form.

EligibilityEdit

Anyone with a previous identification card in Nunavut.



FeesEdit

For a lost or misplaced GIC, the fee is $33.40



ValidityEdit

Explain the time until which the certificate/document is valid.
