Procedure

Apply by Mail

1. To Renew Pharmacist License, the applicant has to approach the Canadian Pharmacists Association link
2. Many regulatory authorities require pharmacists to participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education activities.
3. Attend approved courses, conferences, seminars, or online programs and keep records of your continuing education activities.
4. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned branch officer.
5. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
6. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
7. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
8. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned office mailing address.
9. The mailing address is mentioned in the “Office Locations & Contacts” section of this page.
10. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
11. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
12. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
13. Once the process gets completed, the applicant receives a call from the office regarding the application.
14. Some authorities may have additional requirements for license renewal, such as undergoing a criminal record check, providing proof of liability insurance, or completing specific assessments or examinations. Verify if there are any additional requirements and fulfill them accordingly.
15. If everything is in order, your Pharmacist License will be renewed, and you will receive confirmation of the renewal.
16. This entire process can be completed within 20 - 30 days or per the timeline the respective department authority advised.

• Any pharmacist license holder Who’s license is expired intends to Renew Pharmacist License is eligible to make this application.

Fees

• The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.

• The validity of the license is five years.
