Apply In-Person:
- To obtain Commercial Vehicle Registration in person, the applicant has to visit the Service New Brunswick (SNB) office nearest to their location.
- List of links containing address and contact information of SNB offices can be found in the following Contact link
- The applicant has to contact the office that is easily accessible from their location. The official in-charge may require the applicant to visit their office.
- The official will direct the applicant to complete the form required to be completed, with respect to the status of the vehicle.
- The application form can also be downloaded by clicking the following link Application form
- While visiting the office, the applicants should carry the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to complete the form with required details under the respective sections and attest it with their signature.
- Then, all the required documents should be attached with the completed form.
- While submitting the application form and required documents to the official, the applicant has to make the fees payment through any available mode.
- Fees details can be found in the “Fees” section of this page.
- After submitting the application package, the submitted application and attached documents will be assessed and verified.
- Processing of the application and assessment of the submitted information takes place for a time period of 7 to 10 business days.
- Upon completion of the assessment and verification, the applicant will be intimated through phone or email to collect the Registration Certificate.

Drivers driving vehicles on a public roadway or owners who have vehicles that are driven on a public roadway in New Brunswick must obtain a Registration Certificate for their vehicles, from the Government of New Brunswick.
