Procedure

Apply-In-Person:

1. Approach the CSPDCL office along with the prescribed Annexure 1 or 2 form along with the required documents.
2. Make sure you have all the documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this procedure.
3. Once the application is filled submit it along with required document to the concerned authorities at the respective office. (must include licensed electrical contractor intended to do wiring)
4. Authorities will verify the submitted documents; if all the documents are in place then authorities will advise the customer to pay the fee for this procedure.
5. Once the payment is made, a receipt will be issued to the applicant. Keep it safe for future reference.
6. This application will be subjected for internal processing and a technician will inspect the premises on a scheduled date at the presence of applicant.
7. On satisfactory inspection in all respect by the officials payment has to be done accordingly.
8. After payment, connection will be effected according to consumer’s application.
   

Apply Online

1. To apply for temporary electricity connection in Chhattisgarh online navigate to the link Link
2. Under “Online New Connection” on the left side of the page click on “Applicant Registration”.
3. Select the type of connection as either HT/LT (whichever applicable).
4. Enter all the details prompted and click on submit. Refer to the “Required Information” section on this procedure for more details.
5. After login, an application form will appear on the screen. Fill all the required details and make sure to select “Temporary Supply” under “Supply Category” in the “Connection Details” section.
6. Upload all the scanned required documents. Please make sure you have all the documents that are listed down the “Required Document” section of this page.
7. After successful application form submission, a LT Temporary Registration No. will be generated and applicant will also receive a SMS on their provided mobile number regarding successful application submission.
8. You will receive a “Permanent Registration Number” (BP Number) through SMS/Email one the application is verified by the respective Zone/DC.
9. Amount of estimate will be posted on your BP number and after survey and approval, you will be intimated about the same through SMS/Email.
10. The payment can be done through company’s website [www.cspdcl.co.in Link] online.
11. After receipt of payment, the lineman of respective Zone/DC will visit your premise for installation of meter and required connection.
12. Submit fully filled “Application Cum Agreement Form” in original along with the self-attested copies of the supporting documents to the lineman.

Processing Time

The date of availing the temporary supply may be got amended by the consumer, by applying to the authority who has issued the orders before the commencement date indicated in the order. However, any alternate date proposed shall commence within 15 days of the date of the first order.
