Apply by Mail:
- To Apply for Liquor Licence (Class B), the applicant has to approach the Alberta Gaming, Liquor, and Cannabis link
- The applicant has to download the application form from the following link
- NOTE: Scroll down and download the form from the following link.
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
- Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
- Submit all the essential documents along with the completed application form to the official mailing address.
- The mailing address is mentioned in the “Office Locations & Contacts” section of this page.
- The fee details for this procedure are mentioned in the “Fees” section of this page.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
- The office Inspector will contact the applicant to review the application and conduct an initial inspection if necessary.
- If the application meets preliminary requirements, it will be posted on AGLC’s website for 7 days. During this period, objections to the application may be submitted to AGLC’s Board.
- Once the verification process gets done, the applicant gets a notification through SMS or call.
- The applicant has to visit the office to get the license.
- The processing time for this procedure takes up to 15 – 30 days.
