Citizens who apply for immigration permits should apply for immigration to the border area permit local governments above the county level Public Security Bureau management agencies, and from the Ministry of Public Security of the port entry and exit requirements.
Required DocumentsEdit
- A recent one photo and complete the "private Chinese citizens abroad (Habitat) Application Form" (hereinafter referred to as the application form);
- (Two) and a copy of identity card and booklet; residents receive identity cards, renewal, replacement period, you can submit a temporary resident identity card and residence booklet and a copy;
- Under 16 years of age citizens, should be accompanied by a guardian and submitted issued the consent of their guardians advice booklet identity card or passport and a copy of the guardian;
- Shall be in accordance with relevant national staff regulations, submit himself to prove their work unit or units in accordance with the higher authorities personnel management authority for approval of the consent issued exit;
- The provincial people's government at the local Public Security Bureau management agencies reported to the Ministry of Public Security Exit-Entry Administration approval, require the other submissions.

Based on Chinese laws and regulations, Chinese consular officials may decide on the type of visa, number of entries, validity period and duration of stay, and may also refuse a visa application or revoke an issued visa.

From the date of issuance of the application materials within fifteen days in remote areas or inaccessible areas or because of special circumstances cannot be scheduled passports issued by the provincial people's government at the local Public Security Bureau management department approval, the issue of time may be extended to receive on the 30th.

Each item of the application form must be filled out truthfully, clearly and completely. Any untruthful contents, missed items or illegible handwriting may lead to delay of the application processing or even refusal of the visa.

Chinas Visa Authorities are:
- Chinese diplomatic missions, consular posts, Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Macao Special Administrative Region, and other resident organizations abroad authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are responsible for handling visa applications by foreign citizens for entry into and transit through mainland China and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China.
- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the local foreign affairs offices authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are responsible for issuance, change and extension of diplomatic and service visas and for issuance of residence permit to holders of diplomatic and service visas.
