1. Go to a Police Office in Greece.

Required Documents

• Affidavit of Law 1599/1986, that they do not fall within the prohibitions of Article 18 of Law 2168/1993
• Medical certificate from a doctor or neurologist-psychiatrist physician, by showing the state of mental health of the person concerned
• Copy of criminal record or judicial generic (Article 577 Code of Criminal Procedure, as replaced by Article 10 of Law 1805/1988)
• Two (2) recent photographs
• For foreigners:
  • a license purchase shotgun category A resident of another Member State of the European Union, the written consent of that State.
  • for authorization possession shotgun, a certified copy of a document which shows the permanent stay in Greece and solemn statement made that the gun will not be transported abroad.
