Ghana - Replace Lost Work Permit

Procedure

Step 1 pick the replace form from Ghana immigration service offices in Accra,

Step 2 Fill the form following the instruction as indicated on the form.

Step 3 Report the loss of the work permit to the nearest police within the next 24 hours and obtain reference number from the police.

Step 4 Visit the passports administration office and with all the supporting document and report the loss of your work permit.

Step 5' Visit the concerned authority at Ghana immigration service.

Step 6 Submit the necessary documents.

Step 7 Pay the prescribed fees

i) National identification CardValid passport

ii) A Copy of the lost work permit

iii) Two 2 recent colour photos (4 x 6 cm in size)

iv) Police report or Statement/Affidavit from the police stating how the permit got lost or damaged.

v) Copy of the lost permit (if available).

vi) Cover letter to the regional office.

vii) Application Form.

All applications for work permits are submitted to the Director of Immigration. The Applicant should submit the application in person.
