How to Apply:
In-Person Application :
- obtain the renew investor registration application form from anyGhana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC)Regional and District Offices or the Head office in Accra or visit the GIPC website to download websiteor click the link below to download (Renew application form)
- Read carefully through the application form, as it contains different section and fill it accurately.
- The completed forms should be submitted in duplicate (2 copies) along with the required documents at the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) Regional and District Offices or the Head office.
- Pay the required application fees at the Reception of GIPC or at the Conference Venue or at a designated bank, upon which you will be issued with a receipt.
- Upon receiving your application the GIPC will verify and process your application, and if the register or authorized official is satisfied that all the documents are in order.
- You should contact the centre in 5 days to know the progress of your application, if approved you will be issued with the certificate of registration as an investor and given further instruction, upon payment of the required fees.
Online application:
- Visit the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC)website home page website on the menu bar select “connect “On the drop box select “forms for investor” then select” Renewal for registration” on the sub-drop box.
- You will be redirected to the next pages to begin your registration application process.
- Fill out the application form by entering all the requiring information in the following field ( Enterprise data, Equity structure, Project data, Employment data )
- Upload the scanned required documents.
- Verify if all the information on the application form are accurate then click on “submit”
- Upon receiving your application the GIPC will verify and process your application, and if the register or authorized official is satisfied that all the documents are in order.
- You should contact the centre in 5 days to know the progress of your application, if approved you will be issued with the certificate of registration as an investor and given further instruction, upon payment of the required fees.

- Ghana Investment Promotion Centre(GIPC) is a government agency, re-established under the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre Act, 2013 (Act 865) to encourage, promote and facilitate investments in all sectors of the Ghanaian economy.
- The Centre is an agency that supports local and foreign investors in all sectors of the economy as they seek opportunities to engage in the Ghanaian business domain
- Foreign investors Companies that are registered with Ghana Investment Promotion Centre must renew their registration to keep enjoying the incentives that come with registration with GIPC

- Status Report:
Status report refers to the report that seeks to give an update on the operations of the company. It includes recent and current development of the company since its last registration or renewal with the agency.
- Financial Report:
Financial statements (or financial reports) are formal records of the financial activities and position of a business, person, or other entity. Relevant financial information is presented in a structured manner and in a form which is easy to understand.
- Change Profile from Registrar General’s Department:
Applicants are required to attach the documents for any changes made at the Registrar General’s Department after its initial registration with GIPC if any. The changes may include, share transfer, change of company’s name, activity, address, change of directors, etc.
- Income Tax (PAYE) Receipt & Tax Clearance Certificate
Applicants must submit the most current monthly income tax receipt showing the list of employees, designation and salaries. It is important to note that, all expatriate persons who have previously been granted automatic quotas by GIPC must be on the list employees whose income taxes have been duly paid. The company must obtain a valid tax clearance certificate as evidence of taxes paid and submit same, together with the application.
- SSNIT Receipt:
Applicants must attach the most current SSNIT monthly receipts as evidence of having paid the monthly pension contributions for employees.
