Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Obtain Regional Number or Examination Data in person, the applicant has to approach the Ghana Land Commission office contact link
2. Visit the office and obtain an application form from the relevant department.
3. Applicant has to enter all information in the application form.
4. Make sure that the applicant has all the required documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. A fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
6. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the application form will be viewed by concerned authorities and the applicant will be notified regarding their land.
7. After the notification, the applicant must go to the office and get their certificate.
8. Generally, the processing time for this procedure 1 month.

Need for the Document

• A data set with regional land is divided into regions, each of which is identified by a region number, and each of which can contain one record or more than one records, depending on the type of land.

Information which might help

• The lands commission is established by article 238 of the 1992 constitution Act, 2008 (Act 767) as a body corporate with perpetual succession, a common seal, and sue and may be sued in the corporate name.
