Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Get Permission for Advertisement in Ghana, the applicant must go to the Ada East District Assembly (AEDA) office or Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) Contact link or Contact link
2. Applicants can be obtained the application form from the authority.
3. Applicants must fill all the details in the application form.
4. Applicant has to enter the name, residential address and postal address and other details.
5. The applicant has to make sure that he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
6. A fee for this procedure is has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
7. Applicants must attach the payment receipt in the application form.
8. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the authority. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
9. Now the authorities will verify the applicant’s application and validate the submitted documents.
10. Once the verifications of all the documents and application has been done, the applicant will be informed through phone or email to collect the permit of advertisements.
11. The Processing time for this procedure is 1 month.

• Passport size picture (applicants and cattle pounds)
• Copy of the passport
• Complete application form as instructed on the form.
• Evidence of registration of the product i.e. letter or certificate.
• Two samples of the product.
• Proposed script, example story sketch/story board for radio & TV and artwork for billboards.
• Audio and video if applicant so desire to facilitate the vetting process
• Authorization letter
• Proof of payment for this license

• The advertisement must be for a registered product, unregistered products are not eligible for advertisement

Fees

• A fee for this procedure is has to be paid as per the authority’s request.

Validity

• Approved advertisements are valid for one year from the date of approval.
