ProcedureEdit

Apply In-Person:

  1. To Apply for Hardship Scholarship award in Ghana, the applicant has to approach the registrar of Ghana scholarship secretariat. contact link
  2. Applicant must obtain the application form from the relevant department.
  3. Applicant must provide necessary information in the application form.
  4. Applicant must make sure to carry all necessary documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page. (Both photocopies and originals)
  5. submit the application form together with the attached documents to the Academic registrar of the university this is so because the institutions concerned are given quotas each year on the basis of which they apply for forms (application and bond forms) for completion by their nominees. Each institute decides on guidelines for selecting the candidates, in a way that suits them best.
  6.  Completed forms are then selected and vetted by the university authorities to nominate the best candidates.
  7. After nomination the nominated application form are submitted to Scholarships Secretariat for further processing and issuance of award letters.
  8. The List of the Nominees is drafted at the secretariat and then forwarded back to the Concern University or tertiary Education with the award letter of selected Candidate.
  9. A Fee For this procedure is free of charge.
  10. The processing time for this procedure is 60 working days.
