- Go to a police department to report the incident.
- The police can then cancel the card on request and revoke its citizen certificate.
- Apply for a new identity card.
- Pay the fee.

In cases of lost or stolen identity card, it must always be reported to the police.

When the card has been put on a revocation list, the card holder no longer will be responsible for the use of the certificates.
Note: Remember that an identity card reported missing or stolen can only be used as a travel document after the card holder has presented it to the police and reported it found.
