Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Apply for Registration of Professional Boxing Associations, the applicant must go to the Boxing Commissions of Fiji office.Contact Link
2. The applicant must obtain the approved application form from the authorities in the Boxing Commissions Office.
3. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. The application form should be filled with necessary details, and along with the required documents, it should be submitted to the Commission for registration in the Boxing Commissions office.
5. The prescribed application fee must be paid and the receipt must be attached with the application form.
6. Then, the Commission will verify the application form.
7. If the documents and the eligibility conditions set by the commission is fulfilled by the applicant are legitimate, then the boxing association registration will be approved by the Boxing Commission.
8. The details of the registration will be entered in the Boxing Commissions register, and the registration certificate will be issued to the applicant.
9. The fee details and the processing time will be intimated to the applicant while applying.

Eligibility

Any individual who intends to start boxing association can apply for Professional Boxing Association registration application, but the applicant must also fulfil the conditions set the Boxing Commission.

Fees

The application fee and the registration fee details will be intimated to the applicant while applying.

Validity

The boxing association registration validity will be mentioned in the registration certificate issued to the applicant.

Instructions

The Professional Boxing Association registration will be approved by the Boxing Commissions based on the conditions such as:

• The association must have a constitution.
• The association should have a President and 2 Vice-Presidents.
• The officials of the association should not have bankrupts.
• The officials of the association must be fit and proper persons to manage and administer such association.
• The association must have at least 2 other Division/branches.

Need for the Document

Without the approval from the Boxing Commission in Fiji, none of the individual is allowed to run the professional boxing associations in Fiji.

Information which might help

• If the boxer or the association member commits any offense during the registration period, then the punishment will be either:
• Penalty of $100,000 / Imprisonment for 5 years.
• Also, not more than 2 Professional Boxing Associations are allowed in the Fiji. (may or may not exceed the limit depending on the decision of the Ministry)
  

Other uses of the Document/Certificate
