Apply In-Person:
- To obtain ship carving and marking notes, the applicant must visit the Maritime Safety Authority of Fiji (MSAF). Contact Link
- The application form must be obtained from the authorities in the MSAF office, or else it can be downloaded from the website. Application Form
- Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The application form should be filled with necessary details, and then it should be submitted to the Surveyor of the Fiji Ships.
- The Surveyor will inspect the ship for the carving and notes, and then the application will be forwarded to the Registrar of Ships for final verification. Then the details of the application will be updated.
- The fee details for the application will be intimated to the applicant while applying.
- The processing time for this procedure will be intimated by the authorities in the MSAF office.
