ProcedureEdit

Apply In-Person:

  1. The National Identification Card is issued by the Fiji Islands Revenue and Customs Authority. Contacts
  2. First the applicant obtain the enrollment form in the local parish and should fill it with necessary details.
  3. The joint card request card must be completed, and should obtain the new FRCA/FNPF ID card.
  4. The FRCA/FNPF Joint ID card is required to register for the National Identification Card.
  5. The applicant must also submit their Fiji National Providence Fund card for verification.
  6. The applicant must return the form at the parish to the citizenship verification committee.
  7. Then the bio data information and Finger prints of the applicant will be recorded electronically.
  8. If the applicant doesn’t have any of the photo ID, then they must submit a passport sized photo certified by a Justice of Peace, Provincial Administrator, Commissioner or Oaths or by FNPF/FRCA Customer Service Counter Officers.
  9. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  10. After the Enrollment, the applicant must wait for 30 days for the processing.
  11. After the verification process completes, the applicant can get the National Identification Card.

EligibilityEdit

When a person turns 18 years, they should apply for the National Identification Card within 90 days of turning eighteen years.

FeesEdit

The National Identification Card is issued for free.

ValidityEdit

The National Identification Card is valid for 10 years.

  • The existing FNPF card has to be returned when the new FRCA/FNPF ID card is issued.
  • Those who have a Tax Identification Number only will be issued with the Joint ID Card later at the end of the year.
