Apply In Person

  1. To Obtain Occupancy License or Permit, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Urban Development and Construction link
  2. The applicant has to get the form from the respective office to get the occupancy permit.
  3. Complete the application form with the necessary details.
  4. Make sure that you have all the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. Applicant has to attach the photocopies along with the application form.
  6. Submit the application form and the necessary documents to the concerned officer.
  7. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as per the authority request and submit the receipt as a proof of payment.
  8. After the payment is done, the officer will process the application for occupancy license and which is examined by the several authority officer.
  9. Once the application and the required documents verification is done, the ministry will issue the occupancy license or permit.
  10. The processing time to obtain an occupancy license is takes up to 1 to 2 months.
