Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To obtain for a Nuts and Oil Produce Manufacturer License is available on the Ministry of Agriculture in Ethiopia location link
2. Applicant has to get the application form from the respective office.
3. Applicant must provide all necessary information in the application form.
4. Make sure you have all the documents mentioned in “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Submit the application form to the relevant office.
6. Fee for this procedure to be paid as per the authority request and submit the receipt as a proof of payment.
7. After the document verification is done the authority will issue the license within 30 days.
8. The applicant is intimated to collect the license once it is ready by receiving SMS or E- mail.

• Any person, cooperative society, group or company who intend to erect/ operate processing firm that transforms nuts and oil crops produce/products to various end use products.

Fees

• Application fee is 1000birr.

• The license validity is for one year.

Need for the Document

• No person can act as a nut and oil produce manufacturer unless he is the holder of a current registration certificate issued in respect thereof by the Board after consultation with the Director.
