Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for obtaining a license or permit for a veterinary clinic and other related facilities in Ethiopia is available in the Food, Medicine and Health Care Administration and Control Authority of Ethiopia contact link.
2. Applicant should make sure to enter all information in the application form.
3. Applicant must carry necessary documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. Applicant should make sure to carry photocopies and originals of the documents that are required for the procedure to complete.
5. Applicant must attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form while submitting.
6. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
7. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly, applicant can get their license within 3 months at the office.

• Pre-Licensing Inspection shall be conducted by any appropriate organ upon application without any service fee.
• If the clinic failed to meet standards of the inspection, applicant can reapply for only two more times upon paying service fee.
