ProcedureEdit

Apply In-Person:

  1. To Obtain Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) is done at the Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority contact link
  2. Applicant has to get the application form from the respective office.
  3. Applicant has to enter all information that is mentioned under “Required Information” section of this page.
  4. Applicant must make sure to carry all documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. Applicant must have both photocopies and originals of the required documents.
  6. Applicant must attach photocopies of documents (whichever is required) along with the application form while submitting.
  7. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly, applicant can get their document within the stipulated period of time.

  • A computerized aeronautical knowledge test
  • Accumulate and log a specified amount of training and experience document.

  • Cross-country flying, using pilotage, dead reckoning, and radio aids.
  • Maximum performance take-offs and landings.
